Mental Health Awareness Week – Running the Liverpool 5k

6th June 2018

Core Assets Children’s Services staff from both our Cheshire West and Chester Caring to Care and “Emotional Health and Wellbeing” services promoted Mental Health Awareness Week by attending Local Authority offices to provide stress busting tips, emotional health and wellbeing advice and guidance, plus lots of branded goodies for people to take away.

Not stopping there, the team also participated in the Liverpool 5k Rock and Roll Run to recognise the importance of our own wellbeing and the benefits of exercise in beating stress.

The team are now planning to do many more events like this, creating a network of opportunities for employees and service users to get involved within the local communities we serve.

Thank you to all involved in making Mental Health Awareness week a big success.
